Instructions
Step 1
chop onion and add canned chipotles in adobo sauce into a blender or food processor along with lime juice and seasonings to make marinade. blend until fully combined.
Step 2
add steak to a bowl with marinade, make sure steak is completely mixed in with the marinade. I used a glove for this!
Step 3
cover bowl with plastic wrap, you can also use a ziplock bag for this.
Step 4
let marinade for 1-2 hours, but can be marinaded overnight.
Step 5
for cooking steak on stovetop: on high heat and a large saute pan, add 1 tbsp olive oil.
Step 6
cook steak on both sides for about 6-8 minutes (this will depend on how thick the steak is or how you like it cooked!)
Step 7
you can also grill these on a bbq which would taste amazing.
Step 8
once finished cooking, place on cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes. cut into bite size chipotle style pieces and enjoy with whatever you would like!
