Step 1
Turn on the oven to 180°C. Wash the orange, dry it well, grate the peel and squeeze the juice. On low temperature, heat the butter, orange zest, juice, sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir until ingredients combine. Add the egg and stir until combined. Remove from stove and add thinly chopped white chocolate. Stir until combined and chocolate is melted. Leave aside to cool a bit.
Mix the flour with salt and baking powder, and add the liquid mixture.
Knead the dough. If the dough is not firm enough (depending on the juiciness of orange) add some more flour. When the dough is ready (doesn't stick to the bowl), form tiny balls and press them with your palm to create a disc shape cookies.
Place them on a baking paper and into the heated oven for 10-12 minutes. Cookies should remain white in color. If desired, dust with powdered sugar.
