Steak with Fresh Basil Pesto

I usually use pinenut or walnut to make fresh pesto sauce. But I was running out of walnuts when I cooked this dish! So, I used mixed nuts instead and came out good. Instructions

Chuck Roast Steak

Step 1
Set sous vide to 135F. Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Place roast into the bag, and place in the water bath for 12 hours.
Step 3
Remove roast from the bag, let it rest for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Sear roast one minute per side.

Fresh Basil Pesto

Step 5
Put all of the ingredients of Fresh Basil Pesto into the mixer.
Step 6
Cut steak as you like, plate with Fresh Basil Pesto and tri-color cauliflower.
