Pistachio Baklawa / Baklava
Making baklawa sounds intimidating but they are so easy to make. I made them with pistachio’s but you can definitely make them with walnuts.
Side note if you can’t find the pistachio cream you can definitely just use the crushed pistachios it will still taste amazing. I got the pistachio cream from Costco.
——Ingredients——
-1 package of phyllo dough
-4 sticks of unsalted butter (melted)
-2 cups of unsalted pistachios (crushed)
-1 cup of pistachio cream

Oven temperature 350° bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden.

-3 cups sugar
-2 cups water
-1 teaspoon lemon juice
——boil for 12 minutes
