Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat Laguna dish with cooking spray.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Add the ground beef and sausage to the pan. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Cook the meat for 3-4 minutes, breaking it up into small pieces with a spoon. Add the onion to the pan. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until meat is browned and cooked through.
Step 4
Add the garlic and onion powder and cook for 30 seconds. Add the arrabbiata sauce to the pan and bring the sauce to a simmer.
Step 5
Let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes

Cook penne Al dente
Step 7
Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce.
Step 8
Pour half the pasta mixture into the prepared pan and top with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. Pour rest of pasta mixture and top with rest of both cheeses.
Step 9
Bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15-20 minutes or until pasta is bubbly and cheese is melted and browned.
Step 10
Let stand for 5 minutes, then serve.
