Instructions
Step 1
Season beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder generously. Add flour, and coat beef with flour.
Step 2
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add butter—Cook beef for about 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
Step 3
The same skillet over medium-high heat, add mushrooms and cook for about 2 minutes, add onion, cook until it gets softened.
Step 4
Add garlic, umami powder, worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, thyme, wine, and sautee for about 5 minutes.
Step 5
Add beef stock, return beef, and cook for about 3 minutes.
Step 6
Add sour cream and chopped parsley, mix well. Taste, and add more salt if you prefer.
Step 7
Serve with cooked rice.
