Jalapeño Popper Deviled Eggs

8 steps
Prep:10minCook:14min
My favorite deviled egg variation. Bring these to any party and they’ll be sure to impress! And with the seeds taken out, they aren’t too hot or spicy at all!

Instructions

Step 1
Cook your eggs in boiling water for 14 minutes. Once done, peel and set aside
Step 2
While your eggs cook, cook your bacon and chop your jalapeños and chives. I chop half the jalapeño, and slice the remaining half for garnishing. Be sure to take the seeds out so it’s not too hot. To see how I chop my jalapeños, be sure to scan the QR code to see a video
Step 3
In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayo, cheddar cheese, 1/2 chopped jalapeño, 5 slices of chopped bacon (the last slice will be used to garnish) and seasonings to taste
Step 4
Cut open your eggs horizontally, and add the yolk to the mixing bowl
Step 5
Mix until well combined, then add to a zip lock bag and cut the corner of the bag for easy pipping into each egg
Step 6
Pipe the egg mixture into each egg
Step 7
Garnish with bacon, chives, and remaining jalapeño
Step 8
Best served chilled
