Instructions

Make the Shredded Chicken

Step 1
In a medium skillet over medium heat, add chicken breast and about a 1/2 inch of water. Add the rest of the pulled chicken ingredients, stirring the water briefly until everything is evenly distributed. Cover with a lid.
Step 2
Once water is simmering, cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bottom half of each chicken breast looks cooked. Flip the chicken breasts and continue cooking without the lid for about 5-7 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked.
Step 3
Once chicken is cooked, reduce heat to medium-low and transfer the chicken to a large plate. Cook the remaining sauce until thickened.
Step 4
While sauce simmers, use two large forks to shred the chicken breasts, using one fork to hold the breast in place and the other to shred the meat.
Step 5
Once all the chicken is shredded and the sauce is thickened, remove the sauce from heat and add the chicken back to the pan. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.

Assemble the Tacos

Step 6
Heat tortillas in microwave or over stove top, then add shredded chicken and desired toppings. Serve immediately.
