A classic french dip sandwich, cooked in a slow cooker for a low effort meal.

Step 1
Add the roast, salt, pepper, beef broth, worcestershire, bay leaf and thyme in a crock pot.
Step 2
Cover and cook on low for 9 hours, or high for 4-5 hours.
Step 3
Shred meat and let simmer in the sauce for about 15 minutes.
Step 4
To toast your hoagie and melt the cheese, you can either heat oven to 375° and place the hoagies with cheese face up on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes, or place face up on a plate and microwave for 1-2 minutes.
Step 5
Pull the meat out of crock pot and strain the sauce.
Step 6
Serve meat on hoagie with the sauce on the side, add some vegetables, fries, and/or chips, and enjoy!
