Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200c gas mark 6 or 180 fan oven
Step 2
Add potatoes to a pan of boiling salted water
Step 3
When the pan comes back to the boil, simmer for 4-6 mins
Step 4
While the potatoes boil, put the cooking oil in a tray and heat up in the oven
Step 5
Strain the potatoes and toss in a mixing bowl or back in the pan, to ruffle up the edges
Step 6
Sprinkle the Puréety seasoning on the par-boiled potatoes, toss and ensure seasoning is evenly distributed
Step 7
Then add the seasoned potatoes to the hot oil, be careful not to splash the hot oil
Step 8
Roast in the oven, turning occasionally for 35-45 mins or until golden brown
