Instructions
Step 1
Wisk together the sugar, salt, and butter until mixed

Add vanilla extract and egg and wisk again until egg is integrated, do not over mix

Sift in flour and baking soda a little at a time while mixing it in with spatula or spoon. It might seem, just keep mixing. Do NOT add more or less of anything. Trust the process.

Fold in chocolate chips

Place mix in fridge for about 20 min to let the dough firm up. When you form the cookies, consistency should be like clay
Step 6
Bake for 11 min at 350°F. Cookies should just start looking brown and may seem like they're not done. Take them out and let them rest for 2 - 3 minutes
