Step 1
Pour drizzle of oil in a wok (or lg. skillet) over med.-high heat; while constantly stirring, add garlic & onion, cooking until fragrant. Add more oil (if necessary & beef. Sprinkle salt, pepper, paprika, & thyme, stirring often.
Step 2
In Apot, boil salted water; add egg noodles. Cook until almost done & remove from heat.
Step 3
Once beef is cooked, add Better than Bouillon© and 1 C water. Mix to combine.
Step 4
Drain most of the pasta water, then pour remaining water & dumplings into meat mixture. Mix noodles into beef mixture. Add enough water to cover noodles in “broth” and cook over lower heat until pasta is done cooking. Make a “well” of broth in the middle of Pan. Add cornstarch slurry, a little at a time, heating and stirring after baking each addition until thickened to suit you. (Make more slurry if necessary.)
