Garlic Girl Pasta
We're big garlic fans over here and love to load our dishes up with it, especially our pastas! We put together our ideal garlic heavy pasta that's so easy to make! It's a great quick, easy and delicious weeknight meal you can make in under 20 minutes!

Ingredients
4 servings
8 ouncesthin spaghetti
4 tablespoonsolive oil
4garlic cloves
minced
½ teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
optional
0.5lemon
zest
1 tablespoonbasil leaves
minced
1 ½ tablespoonsunsalted butter
¼ cupparmesan
freshly grated
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
grated parmesan
freshly
lemon zest
red pepper flakes
optional
fresh basil leaves
optional
Instructions
Step 1
Fill a large pot with water and place over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil.
Step 2
2. Add a small handful of salt to boiling water followed by pasta. Cook, stirring

occasionally until pasta has just cooked through.
Step 4
3. Drain reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
Step 5
4. Place large pan over medium heat.
Step 6
5. Once pan is hot add oil.
Step 7
6. Add garlic and pepper flakes and stir together.
Step 8
7. Add lemon zest and basil. Stir together and season with salt and pepper.
Step 9
8. Add pasta and toss together.
Step 10
9. Stir in butter and pasta water until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Step 11
10. Toss in grated Parmesan until evenly incorporated. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 12
11. Remove from heat and top with more Parmesan, lemon zest, pepper flakes and basil
Step 13
leaves if using. Serve.
