Step 1
Melt butter on stove in large cast iron skillet or similar Med heat. Pat pork chops dry,
Season with salt pepper and soup packet, covering/coating well.
Place into preheated skillet and don’t touch.
Flip when a brown crust has seared and repeat when very browned remove from pan to plate. Turn heat up a add a pat of butter mushrooms (if using) and garlic stir 1 minute then deglaze by adding wine or broth. Scrape any stuck bits and simmer 2 minutes add heavy cream
Turn burner to simmer add back pork chops with any collected juices. Let simmer 15 minutes!
