drain the juice from the tomatoes and leave the juice for later

press the garlic cloves with a knife. heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the garlic until golden brown. add chili flakes and tomatoes to the garlic and cook constantly stirring for about 5 to 7 minutes

pour them with the juice from the can, then add basil leaves and salt. stir again and cover with a lid. simmer over low heat for 20 minutes

meanwhile, cook pasta in lightly salted water – turn the heat off a minute before it’s al dente. when the pasta is almost ready, grab a ladle of water and pour it into the sauce. drain the pasta in a colander and immediately send it to the pan with the sauce
