Ingredients

2 Tbspbutter
1onion
medium, coarsely chopped
1green pepper
medium, coarsely chopped
1 lbpolish sausage
cooked, cut into 1/2" slices
1 lbfrozen shrimp
raw large
16 ozcan tomatoes
un-drained cut up
10.75 ozcan condensed chicken broth
6 ozcan tomato paste
¾ cuprice
uncooked regular
2 tspsugar
1 tspthyme leaves
½ tspgarlic powder
⅛ tspcayenne pepper
⅛ tsppepper
1bay leaf
Instructions
Step 1
In a large Dutch oven, melt butter. Saute onions for 2 to 3 minutes or just until tender.
Step 2
Stir in remaining ingredients and blend well.
Step 3
Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until rice is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Remove bay leaf.
