Instructions
Step 1
Using ready made dinner rolls or my versatile dough recipe listed right before this one, cut the dough into 1-2 inch size pieces.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the zaatar, sumac abs olive oil well to form a runny paste. If it's too thick add more olive oil. Too runny add more zaatar. The consistency should be easy to dip the bread rolls into it and fully coat them.
Step 3
Dip the bread rolls into the zaatar mix and fully coat each one abs place into a baking dish (9 inch square baking pan or bread loaf pan works best)
Step 4
Cover with plastic wrap and let the dough rise for 1 hour before baking.
Step 5
Place the bread into a preheated oven of 375°F for 40 minutes.
Step 6
Remove ans allow to cool for about 10 minutes before flipping into serving dish.
Step 7
Enjoy with a side of labne (middle eastern creamy yogurt) and olive oil.
