Ingredients
4 servings
7 cupsspinach
chopped
6 cupsromaine lettuce
chopped
2 cupswater
cold, filtered
1 ½ cupscelery
chopped
1apple
medium, cored and coarsely chopped
1pear
medium, cored and coarsely chopped
1banana
medium, peeled and cut in thirds
2 tablespoonsfreshly squeezed lemon juice
½ cupfresh cilantro
minced, stems are okay, optional
½ cupfresh parsley
minced, stems are okay, optional
Instructions
Step 1
Fill the blender with 2 cups of water. Blend the spinach and romaine until smooth.
Step 2
Add the celery, apple, pear, and herbs (if using) and blend again until smooth.
Step 3
Finally, add the lemon juice and banana, and do your last blend.
Step 4
Pour and eat fresh!
