Turkey Leg

2 Tbspolive oil

½ cupwhite onions
diced

½ cupcelery
diced

1 cupchicken stock
low sodium

aluminum foil

Instructions
Step 1

Follow video for instructions. In a pot over high heat, mix all of the brine ingredients (except for bay leaf) together and bring to a boil. Cook until salt and sugar has dissolved.






Step 2

Follow video for instructions. Let brine cool. Add bay leaf. Place turkey leg into a bowl or food grade bag. Pour brine over over turkey leg. Place in refrigerator for min 2hrs to overnight.


Step 3

Follow video for instructions. Mix all of the seasoning ingredients together in a small bowl.







Step 4

Follow video for directions. Remove turkey leg from brine solution. Rinse under cold water and pat dry. Place turkey leg in a large bowl. Pour olive oil over turkey leg and rub all over. Add seasoning mixture and rub all over. *Lift skin to make sure seasoning gets in between there and the meat of the turkey leg.


Step 5

Follow video for directions. Create a bowl out of aluminum foil. Spread onion and celery on the bottom.



Step 6

Follow video for directions. Place turkey leg on top of onions and celery. Pour chicken stock over the onions and celery.

Step 7

Follow video for directions. Cover the turkey leg with aluminum foil and air fry at 300 degrees for 1hr and 30min.



Step 8

Follow video for directions. After air frying for 1hr and 30min, remove top layer of aluminum foil and place back into the air fryer at 325 degrees for another 10min. The top of the turkey leg will develop a crispiness.

Step 9

Follow video for directions. Let rest for 30min and enjoy!
