Cheesy Pesto Breadsticks

These cheesy pesto breadsticks are a delicious way to use up extra pizza dough!

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 190C/375F.
Step 2
On a lightly floured surface, roll each pizza dough ball into 8-9inch rounds. Be sure that the round is rolled out to an even thickness.
Step 3
Spread the pesto across the entire surface of the first pizza dough round. Sprinkle the cheese on top of the pesto. Layer your second round of pizza dough onto the first round and gently press down to seal the two layers as best you can.
Step 4
With a pizza cutter, cut the round directly down the middle. Then cut each half into 3-4 even strips. Take the ends of each strip and twist them in opposite directions about 4-5 times until the desired twistiness is achieved. You can either keep the bread sticks long or cut them in half (I cut the longest ones in half) it’s up to you!
Step 5
Place onto a parchment lined baking tray and bake at 190C/ 375F for about 15 minutes or until lightly golden and the bits of cheese are starting to brown. These are best served fresh out of the oven.
