Step 1
Beat egg whites and half the sugar until it forms soft peaks. Beat yolks and the remaining sugar, add flour, milk and water. Add melted margarine and mix. Fold in egg whites. Pour ¼-⅓ of mix into waffle iron and cook.
Step 2
Thicken batter with more flour or thin with water.
Caramel Sauce
Step 3
Combine ingredients in a saucepan, stir on medium heat until sugar dissolves and all ingredients are combined. Heat through. Serve hot.
