This is my homemade sour mix for making whiskey sours or mixing with fizzy water for sparkling lemonade.

Instructions
Step 1

Squeeze fresh lemons until you have 1.5 cups of juice. Set aside. Use the peels for making limoncello or mixed peel.
Step 2
Make a simple syrup by boiling the sugar and water for five minutes.
Step 3
Let the simple syrup cool and then stir in the juice.
Step 4
Bottle and store in refrigerator.
