Instructions
Step 1
Season steak with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Melt butter in a a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Add minced garlic and thyme to the butter.
Step 4
Sear steak in skillet for 4 minutes per side for medium rare or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the centre reads 140°F. Occasionally bast steak with garlic and thyme butter.
Step 5
Rest steak for 10 minutes.
