Potato soup -mama Lisa's version
*I usually cut up more potatoes.
*I buy the grated carrots
*Most of the time I don't even add
the milk..mainly because I usually
double it and it won't fit in the pan, but also we like ours thick

Instructions
Step 1
In a large pan boil vegetables, in enough water to cover, until tender.
Step 2
Add cubes of cream cheese.
Step 3
Remove from heat and stir until cream cheese is melted.
Step 4
Add rest of the ingredients to vegetables.
Step 5
Add Velveeta last and stir into soup
Step 6
Serve hot. May top with shredded cheese, bacon bits or green onion tops.
