Instructions
Step 1
Peel and de-vein your shrimp and make the tempura batter. Add salt and pepper to the shrimp and pour the batter over the shrimp. Heat oil in a pan and wait until it is hot before adding the shrimp. Cook the shrimp for 3-4 minutes until they turn golden brown and remove them to a cooling rack.
Step 2
In a pan, add butter, sugar and walnuts together. Cook on medium low for about 5-8 minutes. Scoop out the walnuts with a slotted spoon and let it sit on parchment paper while you prepare your shrimp and sauce.
Step 3
In a small bowl, add mayonnaise, condensed milk, lemon juice and honey. Mix to combine. Place your cooked shrimp into a bowl, add sauce, walnuts and toss together. I like to add some spring onion and sliced oranges when plating.
