Cheddar Stuffed Garlic Buns

Cheddar Stuffed Garlic Bun Recipe: The dough For the dough I used half of what this recipe yields and made a loaf of bread with the other half https://lilluna.com/basic-homemade-bread-recipe/ Formation of the buns First cut 12 1cm cubes of cheddar cheese and set aside Take the half of the dough made from the recipe above and separate it into twelve even dough balls Lightly press a cube of cheese into the top of each of the dough balls Fold the sides of the dough upward and pinch at the top to seal the cheese in and repeat for all the buns Lightly oil a 12x12’’ glass baking dish or an alternative dish you have that may fit Place the buns seam down in baking dish (the buns should be close, if they touch that’s okay but half a cm between each is ideal) Let rise again for 1hr Start preheating the oven at 375 The garlic butter While we wait for the buns to rise Take a whole head of garlic and cut the end off then place it in a little bowl with the cut side up for about two minutes or until soft. The garlic should easily come out. Put about 3-4 tablespoons of butter in the bowl with the garlic and add a 2-3 pinches of Italian seasoning Mash the garlic into the butter as well as you can then add to the microwave for another minute Set aside Once the dough has finished rising used a basting brush to brush the garlic butter all over the buns If there seems to be extra continue to cover the the buns with this it will bring lots of garlic flavour Once over I’m done preheating place them in the oven for about 25 minutes or until golden on top Let them cool for a few minutes, remove from the pan so they don’t get soggy and Enjoy!!! If you try this recipe, let me know what you think! It’s definitely become a new favourite of mine ❤️
