Instructions
Step 1
Place chicken in the bottom of slow cooker.
Step 2
Stir together marinara, tomatoes, garlic and Italian seasoning; pour over chicken.
Step 3
Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours or until chicken is tender.
Step 4
Sprinkle Parmesan over top of chicken; cover and cook on high an additional 30 minutes to melt cheese.
Step 5
In a medium skillet, melt butter; add bread crumbs and garlic salt.
Step 6
Cook 4 minutes or until golden brown; stirring often.
Step 7
Before serving, sprinkle bread crumb mixture and a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese over chicken.
Step 8
Serve with pasta, if desired.
