Spaghetti and meatballs
Spaghetti and meatballs is a classic for quick weeknight dinners but with a couple extra ingredients you have spaghetti and meatballs straight out of a 5 star restaurant π©π»βπ³ The creaminess of the sauce paired with the herby flavoured meatballs will satisfy pretty much every tastebud ππ½
Recipe β¬οΈ
1 lb. ground beef
2-3 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp dried parsley
1 egg (small)
1/4 cup bread crumbs
Salt & pepper
1 tbsp avocado oil
1/4 cup pecorino romano
1 cup passatta
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp sugar
2 basil stems + leaves
Salt & pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 pk spaghetti

Instructions
Step 1
Season ground beef with minced garlic, oregano, thyme, dried parsley, 1 egg, Panko bread crumbs, salt and pepper, a bit of oil, and pecorino romano. Mix but donβt over mix.
Step 2
Make little balls of the beef and fry in heated pan until golden on most sides
Step 3
In the same pan, pour in some passatta. Add garlic powder, red pepper flakes, sugar, basil leaves and the stem, and add meatballs to the sauce.
Step 4
Cover and let simmer for about 10 minutes then top with heavy cream
