Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 375.
Step 2
Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Step 3
Add in remaining ingredients.
Step 4
Use more flour if dough is not holding enough.
Step 5
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Step 6
Bake for 8-10 min or until light brown.
Step 7
Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
Step 8
Makes about 7 doz cookies.

Convection oven = 7 min / 2 trays at a time
