Instructions

Step 1
Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
Step 2
Add onion & sauté for about 5 min., until translucent.
Step 3
Add garlic and cook for another 3 min.”

Add chicken, beans, broth, green chilies, spices and jalapeños (if desired- start with about 1/3 of a 4oz can and work up to 1/2 can to taste)
Step 5
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat & simmer for 30 min.
Step 6
Turn off heat, stir in half & half and sour cream.
Step 7
Serve w/ cheddar cheese, mini saltines & additional sour cream on top.”
