Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 12 cup muffin tin with baking cup liners or nonstick cooking spray
Step 2
In a large bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder and whisk together to combine
Step 3
Add eggs, vanilla extract, buttery spread, and milk to the flour mixture and mix until fully combined. Fold in chocolate chips
Step 4
Scoop batter into prepared muffin tin. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Place muffin tin on a cooling rack and cool for 2 minutes. Remove muffins from tin and place on ack to finish cooling. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
