Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Grate the potatoes into a large mixing bowl and quickly stir in the lemon juice.
Step 3
Add the onion, potato flour, nutritional yeast, seasoning and 30ml rapeseed oil and mix gently to combine well.
Step 4
With clean hands, shape a small handful of the mixture into a ball.
Step 5
Put on the baking tray and, using the metal ring as a guide, flatten the ball out with the back of a spoon to fill the ring mould.
Step 6
Repeat with the remaining mixture; you should get about 12 hash browns.
Step 7
Cover the tray with foil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Remove the foil and leave the hash browns to cool and set for at least an hour before removing from the parchment.
Step 9
Before serving, heat a little rapeseed oil in a frying pan and, working in batches so as not to overcrowd the pan, fry them off on both sides until nicely browned.
