Step 1
In a large bowl combine semolina flour powdered sugar and baking powder. Add milk and melted butter mix until the dough forms. Roll dough into 24 balls. In a separate bowl combine baking dates olive oil and cinnamon and roll into 24 balls. Flatten each ball of dough in your hand and place one ball of dates in the center. Cover the dates with the dough and roll it into a smooth ball either use a Mamool mold or shape the cookie in to your desired shape. Place it on a sheet pan and bake at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown but don’t let the tops take on too much color. Cool them completely dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
