Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a cupcake tray with 12 cupcake liners.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to combine.
Step 3
In a liquid measuring cup, combine room temperature milk, vegetable oil, sour cream, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
Step 4
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk to combine. Once fully incorporated, stop whisking – do not over mix.
Step 5
Fill cupcake liners ¾ full.
Step 6
Bake for 20 minutes until the tops of the cupcakes bounce back slightly when touched.
Step 7
Remove from the oven and cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Remove the cupcakes from the pan and cool completely.
