Step 1
In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients except the raisins. In a smaller bowl add the melted butter, 2 eggs (whisked) and buttermilk. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until completely mixed. Add raisins. Pour batter into a 9" cake pan. Bake for 55/60 minutes at 350. You can also split the batter between 2 9x5 loaf pans and reduce the bake time to 45 minutes.
