Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium high heat. Simmer, stirring frequently, until liquid is mostly absorbed, about 15 minutes.

If lumps remain, blend in a food processor or use a hand blender until smooth.

Store in an airtight container for up to one week, or divide into canning jars to give to family and friends.
