Instant pot orange sesame chicken

Instructions

Step 1
Set the instant pot to saute mode. Add 1 tablespoon of the sesame oil to the pot. Add the chicken and saute for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the chicken is just beginning to brown. Press keep warm/cancel.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together the orange juice, garlic, aminos, remaining sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, tomato sauce, honey, salt, and orange zest. Pour the mixture over the chicken and use a spoon to scrape up the brown bits from the bottom of the pot. Stir everything well, and then lock the lid and turn the vent to sealing. Press the manual to high pressure and set timer to 6 minutes.
Step 3
Quick release the steam. Remove the chicken using a slotted spoon and set aside on a plate. Press the saute button and bring the sauce to a boil. In a small bowl, stir the arrowroot powder and the water together. Pour it into the Instant Pot. Stir for 2 to 3 minutes, until the sauce thickens. It will also thicken more upon standing. Add the chicken back into the pot and stir.
