Instructions

Step 1
Prep: Thaw shrimp, then dust with flower and shake off excess.
Step 2
Prep: Prepare and combine garlic, shallots, and salt.
Step 3
Prep: Prepare and combine white wine and lemon juice.
Step 4
Prep: Cook pasta first, leave aside.
Step 5
Add the olive oil to a large saute pan on medium heat, and add the shrimp; brown lightly on one side, then turn them over.
Step 6
Add garlic, shallots, and salt, then brown the shrimp on the second side.
Step 7
Add the wine and lemon juice to deglaze, and cook, swirling the pan and stirring, until reduced into a slightly viscous sauce.
Step 8
Once the shrimp is done (it should be pink and opaque), add the butter, and swirl it into the sauce, only until melted.
Step 9
Remove from the heat to avoid breaking the sauce, then immediately add to already cooked pasta of your choice. Leave remaining sauce on stove for subsequent servings.
