Fry onions til soft

Sprinkle over flour and coat onions

Add stock, sage and mushroom ketchup and simmer til thickened

Preheat oven to 160C fan

Arrange layer potato, half swede and apple, half black pudding & onion sauce, layer of potato, remaining swede & apple, black pudding & onion sauce then potato. Dot with butter
Step 6
Cover and put in oven for 60 mins
Step 7
Remove lid and cook for 30 mins
