1 tindiced tomatoes
400mlbeef stock
400mlred wine
500mlblonde beer
2chillis

2 TbspWorcestershire sauce

Instructions
Step 1
Place a saucepan on a medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the butter and the onion. Let it cook until the onion begins to brown and then add the garlic and chilli.
Step 2
Cook down and then add the tomato paste, stir well and then add tinned tomatoes and the red wine & beef stock. Bring it to a boil and then add the beer. Season with salt and pepper, add the Worcestershire sauce and bay leafs. Leave to simmer for an hour.
Step 3
Peel and slice the potatoes into fries and leave to soak in salted, ice water for 30 mins.
Step 4
Place a frying pan over high heat. Meanwhile, cut the sausages to butterfly them. Fry the sausages in their own fat, then use the remaining fat to fry the steak.
Step 5
Drop the fries into 180c/350f oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
Step 6
Then assemble the sandwich, on soft white slices of bread. Place the in the oven to allow the cheese to melt and the bread to toast.
Step 7
With a hand blender, blend the sauce and fry the egg. Top the sandwich with the fried egg, cheese and sauce. Fries on the side and enjoy 👌
