Instructions

Step 1
Zest the lime
Step 2
Cut off the ends of the bananas, slit the banana skin lengthwise and

Peel off the skin.

Slit the bananas lenghtwise in two

Combine lime juice, rum and vanilla and sweetener in a sauce pan
Step 6
Stir to dissolve the sweetener, then place the banana slits in the pan and simmer gently for about 2mins
Step 7
Add the oil and spice, continue to simmer for about 1 minute, it will be lightly brown.
Step 8
Remove the banana slits from the pan, place on the serving plate and drizzle some of the sauce over it
Step 9
You may enjoy it without the sauce or serve with icecream or whipped cream.
