Instructions

Step 1
In a medium nonstick pot sauté’ the onions until translucent. Then, add the diced tomatoes, drained and washed chickpeas, sauté for 2-3 more minutes.
Step 2
Add in the bulghur, water, tomato paste, pepper paste, salt and 7 spices or black pepper. Taste the broth, add more salt if needed.
Step 3
Bring to a boil. Once boiling, gently mix and cover.
Step 4
Lower heat to simmer for 10-13 minutes or until done. Allow ingredients to rest for 10 minutes and serve.
