1 x 10.5 ozcan of cream of mushroom soup

I used 2% but any will do

1 ½ cupsfrench fried onions

divided - half will go in, half will sprinkle on top

1 cupshredded cheddar cheese

4 slicesbacon

cooked, chopped

to taste, remember, bacon has salt

Okay so I completely forgot to take a picture once this was cut into to show the casserole completely - but this recipe is amazing. The cheese and bacon add so much flavor and twist to a beloved holiday favorite. I’ve made this numerous times, and it always comes out perfectly! I use applewood smoked bacon and it’s incredible.
