I found this recipe on a youtube video of Gordon Ramsey making this on one of his British cooking shows. These turned out pretty good and the flavors are fantastic! You can watch the video if that would be helpful! In it, he used whole chicken legs/thighs still attached together. I only had Chicken legs and they turned out great! You could probably use the bone-in chicken thighs. This is very easy and the lemon aroma will make your home smell so heavenly!

THIS WAS THE PERFECT QUICK & DELICIOUS MEAL (I added a few notes / sides below for next time we make it) I made the sauce before hand. Mixing all ingredients (and a couple bay leaves) in a bowl then added the chicken pieces to let marinate in the fridge for around 30-60 minutes (will try longer next time). Cooked the chicken as shown and let simmer in the sauce for 15-20 minutes to finish cooking. Serve with: Cabbage / Red onion slaw - cabbage, red onion, mayo, white wine vinegar, honey, salt, pepper White rice - seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, thyme, white pepper, small pinch of saffron

Makes leftovers

This is very good!! I will make it again. I used lemon juice because I did not have whole lemons and it worked great. I used chicken thighs instead of legs. We had it with rice and the sauce was awesome! It was not too sweet and not too tangy. So good! Try it!
