NAD+ Preserving Seared Duck with Luteolin Artichoke Puree
Instructions
Prep:20minCook:25min
This recipe is engineered to address the NAD+ Salvage Pathway, a critical mechanism in reverse aging. While most diets focus on adding antioxidants, this dish focuses on stopping the leakage of cellular energy. Duck breast is a rich natural source of dietary niacin and tryptophan (NAD+ precursors). However, aging creates an enzyme called CD38 that destroys NAD+. To counter this, we pair the protein with a puree of Globe Artichokes and Celeriac and a garnish of fresh parsley. These vegetables are among the highest natural sources of Luteolin and Apigenin, flavonoids shown in peer-reviewed studies to inhibit CD38, effectively 'plugging the leak' in your cellular energy batteries. Finished with a blackberry reduction for vascular support.
