Creamy Crockpot Crack Chicken

Great meal for busy days and company

Creamy and delicious, but if you're eating it on a bun it needs something more. Pickles, slaw, hot sauce, lettuce, etc. I would also use sliced red onion instead of chopped green onion. I think the base recipe is perfect for doing tho!

I think that I may consider adding hot sauce the next time that I cook this.

Can cook on high in the crockpot for quicker cook time. Took about 4 hours and did add an extra packet of ranch seasoning for extra flavor. Was delicious and had lots of compliments on it. Make sure to add the onions and bacon right before serving.

It was good. Seasoned heavily and added jalapenos. Don't love the cream cheese so probably isn't the recipe for my family.

This turned out great. Everyone loved it. I put them on fresh baked crescent rolls. It tasted wonderful. I didn't have any fresh chicken so I used canned and it worked great.

I added a celery salt, minced garlic, pepper, and paprika. For more flavoring. All in all it was so good I cooked it in my insta pot and boy was it yummy.

Added some Rotel, chicken broth, and cooked it a little longer after mixing in cheese

I don't do bacon in recipes and was out of onions, so I added mushrooms and green chilis. I also used my own homemade ranch seasoning. It was delicious! Husband wanted seconds!

Add chilli sliced with spring onions, TSP of smoked paprika, black pepper

Mine was actually done about 4.5 hours on low so be mindful of that, otherwise it would have been overcooked/dry. The only thing I would do differently is adding something to help tone down the saltiness as it was a bit too salty for me. Perhaps a little lemon juice.

This was tasty but a very heavy meal. It wouldn’t be a go-to.

Roommate couldn't get enough! She barely eats a full meal to begin with (tiny stomach) but went back for seconds of this.

Added 1/4 cup ranch salad dressing and a 1 tsp seasoning salt. I made this ahead of time: baked the chicken (thighs), shredded it, tossed in cream cheese and spices then put in the fridge. Made it 4 days later in a double broiler. I meal prep so I always use chicken thighs, they are much less dry so they do better when refrigerated.

Based on the comments at the site that said this was a little bland, I used half cheddar, half pepperjack cheese. Really good, but could still use some perking up. Next time I will add a tin of green chilies.

Toast the buns before you put this on them. Might need to add a bit of milk.

This was so good and I don't even like chicken!!! But my family likes more cheese than most people so i also added a package of Velveeta cheese sauce to it which made it even more creamy and cheesy. The best part about this is I can put it on to cook while doing other things and not have to stop what I'm doing to check it every 5 minutes.
