Oven Baked Pork Chops with Potatoes

Easy recipe. Should double the sauce if more is wanted.

Forgot to take a pic before we devoured it! Skipped the potatoes but this was a really good baked pork chop recipe! It took me 40 mins in total in my oven because I reduced it to 180 after 25 mins. Next time I’ll add a bit more soy sauce/worcestershire and I’ll make sure to marinate it overnight. 👌

The recipe was easy to follow and it was that delicious my husband asked for seconds. Everything was easy to understand and I think my godmother will love this yummy dish.

One piece of advice, know your oven and adjust the timing based on that! Mine is pretty potent 🔥

Doubled the sauce recipe

I used boneless pork chops and followed the recipe. Mine turned out okay. I made mine as a serving of two and my only suggestion is to make more sauce. It was so good and I just wanted more of it.

Very good recipe. The sauce is not overly sweet and probably goes well with chicken. Great option for those who are looking for sweet and savory. I am sure adding some spicy will be good too.

This turned out amazing! I used two boneless center cut pork chops that I brined for 1 hr in a solution of 2 cups water and 2 tbsp kosher salt. Would brine a bit more next time. Made the full sauce recipe for the glaze. The only thing I changed was to use 1 tbsp brown sugar and 1 tbsp honey. I used this dry pork rub(cut recipe in half and didn't use the salt since I brined the pork).. PORK RUB 1 tbsp smoked paprika 2 1/4 tsp salt (cooking/kosher salt, Note 2) 3/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp onion powder 1 tsp dried oregano 3/4 tsp mustard powder 1/2 tsp cumin powder I seared them in a cast iron skillet with some butter and evoo until nice and browned and then I put the glaze all over it and finished in oven.

Served with rice. Wasn’t as juicy as I thought it would be but we still enjoyed it. Edit: Made again - This time I fried the pork for longer to get a bit of colour. I kept back a fair amount of the marinade and kept basting the chops, which I cooked for longer. was much better!

It was more labour intensive than I expected, and my chops were still not very juicy. The flavour of the sauce was good though.
