Chicken Pot Pie Soup Recipe

Soooo good I ate it for 3 days straight!

I left out corn as this is not normally in chicken pot pie. Family loved it.

Unbelievable. Ive never had a better soup. I think it must have been the mushrooms. I used brown ones, not white ones. I didn’t use as much chicken. I was nervous about how much salt it called for, but it turned out fine.

Added my own seasonings and more liquid. Soooo good! Definitely needed more flavor though

I really like this recipe. I make about half a batch at one time and it's flexible to use what I have on hand. Yummy!

Might add a little thyme and rosemary next time, but very good.

Very good! Tastes just like pot pie. I subbed a homemade heavy cashew cream to make it df. Plus I skipped corn and added more carrots. Nice recipe. I roasted 2 chicken breasts and a pckg chicken legs in oven with lots salt, pepper, garlic powder. Perfect.

I more or less followed the recipe, minus the mushrooms. Also I used canned chicken, which worked great! I thought it needed a crispy element for the potpie vibes so I rolled out out dough and baked it and broke it up into chunks on top. Next time I would cut the dough into pieces before baking so they would be more crispy but it was great and would recommend adding a topping like this.

Doubled everything and axed the mushrooms, corn, and peas. Added about 1 tsp Italian seasoning.

Very bland as written. Added better than bouillon, thyme, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Used cream of mushroom soup in place of cream.

Used rotisserie chicken. Saved excess chicken and covered the carcas with water, onion (including skin), carrots, celery and few sprigs of thyme to make my own broth. It really made a difference to the overall flavor. Yum!

My family and I really enjoyed this recipe! I made shredded chicken breast in the slow cooker (2 lbs on high for 3 hrs) and biscuits from scratch (also Natasha's recipe). It was a little more work, but it was worth it. The meal was comforting on a cold, rainy night!

This is a delicious soup on the cold day or any day! I cooked chicken breasts in the instant pot while sauteing veggies for the soup. Definitely will be making it again.
