Ham and Cheese Pasta Bake

Did make some modifications (Comte, cheddar, and mozzarella mix - and added mushrooms). But very good!

Super creamy. Used 3 cheese blend instead of mozzarella to add some color. Would make again for sure!

Didn't really follow the recipe, mainly just the base idea. I switched the green onions for leeks and added mushrooms.

It was ok, but it did need more cheese to it I found it a bit bland

This was a hit! Soooo good. I added cheddar cheese and parm to the sauce, along side some extra spices. And also added a handful of frozen peas before tossing it in to bake. Turned out great! Will make again.

Use oven safe pan.

Looks yummy, smells yummy, super tasty, easy, kid friendly. I added extra extra cheese because we love cheese. I left out Italian seasoning because we don’t like Italian seasoning. Definitely a go to. Will make again

After baking I put it under the broiler for a few mins to get a really nice brown on top, it smells amazing

So good! I added ground mustard and a little salt to the regular recipe and subbed mozzarella for Swiss and Gruyère. Great flavor and simple enough to make, will make again.

I left out the water and added broccoli. Needs more flavor possibly cheddar cheese or spices. Sid have it 8 out of 10

Delicious! This dish was super easy to make, and tasted great. When I made it I only made half a recipe since I didn't need as much food and I used leftover pasta from a different recipe. It could have used a bit more cheese and when I make it again I think I'll add some broccoli bits. It was a great recipe and I'll definitely make it again.

My family loved this one! I definitely messed up the recipe a little bit tho. I didn't remember to add the cup of water or the Italian seasoning, but everyone loved it anyways, so while I would add the seasoning next time I'll probably skip the water again. ☺️ Also, be careful with how much you salt it, I almost forgot how salty the cheese and ham can be and I probably would have messed it up 😭

I somehow misread the ingredients so badly that I used smoked paprika instead of nutmeg, but you know what? It was delicious. As long as you're careful with whisking the ingredients in gradually to ensure a smooth sauce, I think it's a pretty foolproof recipe (speaking as a fool)

The nutmeg in this makes the dish. It pairs so well with the green onion. It's amazing. I added seasoned panko to the top before baking. This is not your typical American family Easy Mac kind of recipe. It may be pasta and cheese, but it's so much better.

I added frozen veggies for some extra nutrition :)

The sauce took a little work. Also instead of adding in a cup of water, I did a few splashes of chicken broth. My 2 year old loved this, and so did myself and my fiancé. For the first time in a while I didn’t hear a complaint about what I cooked but the teenager is giving the silent treatment so maybe it’s good or maybe it’s that. 🤷‍♀️ overall 5 stars.

Skipped the extra cheese on top and the water in the sauce. It was creamy and delicious!

Oof! Big hit. We used rotini (16 oz), subbed the mozz for some colby jack and forgot to buy green onions, still delish! Gotta fight my roomie for the leftovers.

Tasted rather strong of nutmeg but could be mine is very strong/I only used cheddar cheese so maybe it wasn't so balanced. This recipe has potential though

Pretty good! I made a few changes - I used 3 cups of milk, no cream and left out the cup of water. I also used cubed gammon instead of ham as that's what I had, and half the amount of pepper. All in all I would make it again but it probably won't be a regular meal in my house.

It was very good. Maybe not add as much milk cause it was pretty runny, but it was also a bit grainy. Maybe cause I used whole wheat flower, but all in all it was very good. I have a small oven so in order to get the top to caramelize a bit I left it in for 20 minutes

I used applewood ham. I used whole wheat rotini pasta (basically fusilli pasta). I eyed all the seasoning. I used 2c of milk, 1/2c of heavy cream and 1/2c of chicken broth. I topped it with cheddar jack cheese and only baked it for 15min. Time consuming to make, though easy, and it’s pretty good.

Would be better with real ham rather than cubed ham. Also don't need to add much salt. The cubed ham has plenty in it already

definitely add extra pepper and salt to this. wish I would have added a bit of ham juices to the sauce earlier to develop more flavor.
