Skillet Chicken in Balsamic Caramelized Onion Cream Sauce

I loved this recipe and it was very popular in our household. It was so good the family requested it twice in one week.

It's okay, but not great. The recipe doesn't make this dish much more special than chicken and grilled onions. Actually, I think I'd prefer that over this.

Nice meal will make again. Served with mashed potato and steamed veg. I found it needed more stock/water and a splash more vinegar than the recipe stated. I’m not sure if red peppers flakes are the same as chilli flakes (UK) but I used a pinch of those and it cut through the rich creaminess without making it spicy, very nice!
